soundproofing: Acoustic Seal Kit Single Door

We supply a range of versatile acoustic door seal kits to upgrade the sound insulation of almost any lightweight internal door. They are easy to install and come with full fitting instructions. The kits come with a sound barrier sheet to adhere to lightweight doors and full seals for the surrounding frame and threshold but for heavy solid wood doors or fire doors, the sound barrier sheet and adhesive will not be required.  For these just use our Acoustic Doorseal Kit without the barrier mat and adhesive.

Please note: This kit is only suitable for internal lightweight doors and must not be used for external doors.

Kit 1 - For a single door 

What’s in the kit?

1. 1 x 1m RP120 Self Adhesive Seal for the top of your door
2. 4 x 1m RP120 Self Adhesive Seal for the side of your door (2 lengths for each side).
3. 1 x 1m TES Threshold Seal (To be cut back by the customer)
4. 1 x 1m CDS Threshold Contact Strip (To be cut back by the customer)
5. 1 x Soundproofing Mat (1.8m x 1.2 m)
6. 1 x Can of Special Spray Adhesive
7. 1 x Set of installation instructions

This acoustic door seal kit comes with everything you will need to uprate a standard door and saves the expense of a full Acoustic Doorset & frame.

A thin ply or MDF wood panel can be installed on top of the Soundproofing Mat to finish off the newly soundproofed door.

Intumescent seals are also available. Let us know if these are required when ordering. They are available 15mm or 30mm wide.
